The rain held off and the day was absolutely gorgeous! Steve and Wendy both met at Indiana Wesleyan University and married this past weekend in Columbia City, IN. I must say... Wendy made one b-e-a-u-tiful bride! It was a blessing to both Jer Nelsen and I to photograph a couple so madly in love.

My sister, Leanne, had twins! I'm an aunt! Check out my beautiful niece and nephew. They are precious!!!

It's crazy to think I've known Danielle since... well, as long as I can remember. We grew up playing tag, riding bikes up and down our small street, swimming in my pool.. and everything else you can imagine two little girls doing. Now I'm taking her engagement pictures! WOWSAS! Time sure does fly! Congratulations to the both of you--you're a lucky guy Adam!

I was pumped when the box arrived at our house. It felt like Christmas morning. Seriously, Sarah can confirm. The sad thing is... this was a clients book! Not mine to keep (tears!) I didn't want to give it up. I love love love KISS books!! And it's not only because I love the smell of leather (although it does help). Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful Wedding! 

When it rains it pours!

We were SO excited about the double engagement session for sisters Whitney and Amanda. We decided to wait for the rain to slow down over a hot cup of coffee but of course, when it rains in Indiana... it pours in Indiana. Although we re-scheduled both shoots, we decided to embrace the rain and did a few quick shots. A few quick shots turned into a soaking wet mess! A mess is worth it when you get rockin' images :)

Thanks for such a great time Whitney, Eric, Amanda and Justin!  We can't wait for engagement session numero dos and of course, the big day!

Cara & Dustin Cooper!

Wow, seriously what an amazing wedding! Cara has been one of my best friends since the first grade... I just love this girl!  It was such a joy shooting her wedding and watching her take the next step with such a great guy.  A great guy with a last name that fits perfectly. Cara Cooper. How cool :) Rachel and I had a blast with the Coopers and ended up with so many fun pictures. I know you will have the adventure of a lifetime growing old together.
